Wearing makeshift capes and zipping around the house for make-believe rescues is a part of childhood. Now, children can be a different kind of hero: Toothsavers!
When a jealous witch catches an evil spell on a kingdom of bright-toothed fairytale characters, it’s up to your child to save them from her tooth-rotting spell. The only way to do so is by unlocking other Toothsavers whose healthy habits defy the witch. It’s all part of an interactive, mobile gaming app released by the Ad Council’s Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives.
The Partnership released the app in preparation for National Children’s Dental Health Month in February and upcoming Give Kids a Smile events. Last year, Alameda Pediatric Dentistry volunteers provided much-needed dental care to underserved kids during the practice’s Give Kids a Smile day of service.
Download the Toothsavers app for free on the App Store or on Google Play. It’s sure to motivate the little ones to brush their teeth as they join pirates, princesses, magical creatures, and endearing monsters on their quest for healthy teeth.
