Alameda Pediatric Dentistry is moving to the Marina Village Business District
Alameda, Calif., February 1, 2017 – After 40 years at its original location at South Shore Center, Alameda Pediatric Dentistry (APD) is moving to a new office at 1105 Atlantic Avenue, Suite 101, in Alameda’s Marina Village Business District. The upcoming move, which will take place the week of February 19, is a monumental step for both the practice and the 10,000 families it serves.
APD’s Dr. Sharine Thenard explains, “A lot of kids have grown up with their oral health being taken care of in this office. We have been in this space for so long that generations of kids remember being cared for here.”

Alameda dentist, team use dental skills to help children in Philippines
Contra Costa Times, July 10, 2013
Dr. MyLinh Ngo, a dentist at Alameda and Pleasanton Pediatric Dentistry, recently took her skills to Taguig City, Philippines, where five dentists and dozens of volunteers treated more than 1,400 children who otherwise would not have access to dental care. During one week in April, the dentists performed more than 600 extractions, sealants and removed decayed dentine with hand instrumentation — a technique called Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (ART) — all without compressors and other standard dental technology.
